United Kingdom
As of October 2023, we now ship to the UK. However due to UK tax rules, please note the following (its a little confusing so hold tight!) :
- All orders under the equivalent of 135 GBP will be sent including all British taxes. This means that if at checkout, you see that VAT has been added to your order, then you will have nothing extra to pay when you receive the your items. Arctic Edge picks up British VAT at checkout, and sends this to the UK government.
- Our website however is in EUR and not GBP. Our website will automatically figure out whether the transaction is under the equivalent of 135 GBP using that day's exchange rate, and apply VAT as mentioned above.
- If however your order is over the equivalent of 135 GBP, then your order will be sent tax free. And then it is the consumer (you) who is responsible for the import. This means you will need to pay UK VAT (20%) + UK customs (approx 10%) + a processing fee (approx 15 GBP), yourself, to DHL or DHL Express.
In practice what this means is : say you order a single neck gaiter from our website. This costs less than the equivalent of 135 GBP. Therefore we will send this including British VAT, and you have no hidden surprises and nothing to pay upon receipt of the goods.
If however you order 2 neck gaiters, this will likely be above 135 GBP and therefore we will send these tax free, and you will be responsible for the import.
